Travis is a freelance writer, environmental scientist, and professional scuba diver with a passion for the ocean and everything in it. His publications range in content from travel, to sailing, to environmental projects - with clients including Scuba Diving Magazine. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2020, he joined the team at #Boatlife as the lead author. He now works remotely from sunny Thailand, where he continues to pursue his professional and personal interests with the ocean as his backyard. When he’s not writing for the site, he’s pursuing his work with research and sustainability of marine ecosystems - particularly coral reefs.
